When I was a child I understood games. I played freely and knew no consequences. The games only ever taught me how to win. The TV taught me to read. Machines were there to help me. School became another game. Everyone said I was smart. I didn't want to be there. I lost my grandfather to himself. His heart did the deed. I lost my mother to herself. Her hands did the deed. Machines couldn't help them. Nobody taught me how to lose. School was still a game, I was trying to shut it off. I couldn't be a kid, but they said I could be smart. I didn't want to be that. That's what they taught me. I wanted to create things. Machines were there to help me. But I had to lead them. I wasn't a leader. I was just a boy. Today I'm a man. I understand the games. I understand the machines. Now I understand how to lose. Now I understand how to win.
